Can you believe it?! Little Lydia is one year old now. It's amazing. What a year of grace, of learning, of humility, of what-do-we-do moments, of laughing and smiling at every little thing our girl does.
Lydia is now 18 pounds and 29 inches long. She has lots of brown hair, beautiful blue eyes, and 5 little chomping teeth. She is beginning to crawl (kind of), walks with our help (her favorite pastime), she can clap (yay!), snap her fingers (what?), and dance. She says "ball", "all done", "dada", "mama", and she waves bye-bye.
Her favorite animal (currently) is the baby donkey. She always finds him in any book that happens to have a donkey in it. Her favorite toys are all her puppets and things that make music (and require batteries). Mostly, she loves books. She has secured her own portion of Daddy's bookshelf in the living room.
We love our little one-year-old!
